Is it possible to shadow with a pilot from an airline?
Sunday, January 29th, 2006Cameron C asked:
Ok, so I’m a sophomore in High School and in order to graduate down the road I need to complete a graduation project. One of the things I need to do is to shadow 2-3 people doing their jobs. I would love to shadow an airline pilot because flying has always been of great interest to me. Unfortunately I’m worried that it may be a waste of my time to contact an airline for them to deny me because of security reasons. So if anyone could help me out here that would be awesome.

How would you convince the pilot to give you the last parachute?

A small plane just shut down and is heading for the ground, and everyone has already jumped out the plane with a parchute. the only people are left are you, a hardworking successful woman and the pilot. the pilot wants to pair up with the girl, but you must convince him to pick you instead, how would you do it?

Can anyone give advice on pilot careers? Most especially on Multi-Engine building time?
Monday, January 23rd, 2006kimberlyn M asked:
Good day! I’m planning to take up my private pilot course here in our country and perhaps transfer abroad for my CPL. I saw this school that offers 200+ hours Multi-Engine time professional pilot package. My question is that, are airline companies considering those pilots with Multi-Engine flying time to be hired? Would it be a good choice to fly more on Multi-Engine?

What about being a regional pilot?
Thursday, January 12th, 2006m173627 asked:
I saw the recent question on becoming a 747 pilot. Frankly, I don’t like that sound of driving something THAT immense; it takes a lot of time to do too. Also, the hassle associated with entering another country and their regulations and the long flight time.
Now what I am asking is this: What are the requirements of being a regional pilot flying 737ish aircraft in regional airlines like Southwest etc? I am really considering a job in travel and a pilot sounds good. Hows the training? How long? Is it worth it? What about your family life? I would appreciate answers from regional pilots or international alike, although anyone’s helpful input would also help.
