If so can it be any four year degree, or does it have to do with aviation or that sort of things? Would a degree from a university online be looked down upon? Around how long does it take before you start making decent money? Thank you.

What about a helicopter pilot? Also, if you have had laser eye surgery and have a corrected 20/20 vision are you able to be a pilot? Or do you have to have good uncorrected vision?

Not the Royal Air Force, I mean the Air Corps in the army.

I think I’d rather join a different corps/regiment if it’s unlikely I can be a pilot.

(ATM I have 2 NVQs and a few GCSEs, so I’m not sure I can join as an officer pilot immediately)

I’m willing to work hard to achieve this. How possible is it to train to be a helicopter pilot? I know I’d have to join as ground crew or something first.

I just moved into an apartment that has a gas hot water heater and a “decorative” gas fireplace. All the other appliances are electric, including the main heating system. The fireplace doesn’t work well for heating purposes and since it’s approaching the warmer summer months I wonder if I should have the pilot light shut off to save money? How much gas does just having the pilot light use?
