so after i graduate high school.. i go to an aviation school, right? how much does it cost? and how long do i have to study? 4 years? do i get a degree? like masters or something? and after that what should i do next?
how much does it pay? cause now, it seems like there’s cheap fares so i was wondering if that could affect the pilot’s salary in the future and what are the benefits? dont tell me about “leaving my wife” blah blah blah… not planning to get married anytime soon. lol

What i mean is when becoming a commercial pilot do you go to a college/universtiy and major in something but then when you begin training to become a commercial pilot is that major in college become your job and while your are working you take flying lessons

In the far/aim the student pilot certificate is good for 2 years a 3rd class medical is good for 3 years if you are under 40. But my medical and student pilot certificate are both one document. So do they expire at different times or at the same time? The far/aim does not address this that I can find. Thanks!

I was wondering with plane technology these days. Does a pilot actually do any of the flying or is it mostly just sitting there turning nobs and listening to intructions before turning more nobs and is it manditory to have autopilot on? like what if a pilot was like “I feel like flying” and flew manually for a good distance (weather permitting and stuff like that).
