What would happen if a spaceship pilot forgets directions after reaching space?

x asked:


what would happen say, if a spaceship pilot reaches moon but then forgets directions how to get back to earth. Instead he flies in wrong directions. What is his chance of returning back to earth through guesswork of directions?

For example on road if a motorist forgets directions, he roams around but eventually making u-turns and following signs he gets back to the right place.

Can that be done in space too for spaceship pilot?

What’s the best way of getting a pilot’s license on a limited time frame/budget?

I’ve always been interested in aviation but I’ve recently been very busy with work. Does anyone know if there are private pilot training classes available on a sparatic basis? I do a lot of traveling so I’d rather not pay for classes that are structured to be completed in a designated timeframe.

For a regular pilot’s license, nothing special like for commercial airliners. I was just wondering the basics:
-How long
-How much (on average)
-How difficult
-How do you decide which class to take, because there’s a dozen from where I come from and they all claim “excellence”, but how can you be sure? Since flying isn’t exactly something you want to take lightly.
