iwantanswers asked:
If a guy wants to be a fighter pilot and goes through everything then he does poorly in his class and is forced to pick another type of aircraft? i am curious if anybody has gone through this or knows someone who has. that would be tough. does he have to fly cargo planes or bombers? helicopters? what happens?

I am a 16 yr old girl and a sophomore in high school. I will be graduating high school as a junior next year. I want to know what steps I need to take to become an army helicopter pilot. I would like to go to basic training right after I graduate, but I will only be 17 1/2 then. Is that possible?

Edward asked:
I want to join Marine ROTC (or AFROTC, can’t decide yet), so they will pay for my tuition for Embry-Riddle. The thing is, I am scared of the commitment. If I graduate Embry-Riddle and they will not let me be a pilot, I will be committed to doing something i do not want to do, which is anything but fly planes, for four whole years. With that four years, I could have been building up my flight hours instead. What can/should I do? Would the marines do that to me? Pay for my tuition but not let me be a pilot so I’m stuck with no flight hours so even after the four years I won’t be able to get a commercial airline pilot job?

I have been taking flying lessons for sport pilot and my instructor told me I still need to go to an AME to get my student pilot license. Is this true? I don’t want or need a 3rd class medical…
Thanks!

Emily W asked:
It took us a bit of trial and error to discover this, but the pilot light will stay lit forever…as long as we don’t use the water. The second water is pulled from the tank, the pilot light goes out, even if the burner is on full blast.
Even when the burner is lit and firing away at full blast, using the water will extinguish the entire flame.

thegetaway31 asked: Okay Im graduating this year. I can’t decide whether to gocollege, the air force ( which i have bad eye sight, thus cannot flight), or move to florida or california. Places where access to planes is more easier. I want to build flight hours.
What would be the easiest way to go through my life and one day becoming a commercial pilot. I dont care the difficulties. I would train years. I just have this passion for planes. I want to fullfill my goal of one day working for a commercial company.
As to my family, they always tell me to go to collegefirst. But what kind of schools? Any schools? Or schools that specialize in aviation?
I in the other hand want to join the air force. I just dont know what to do.
Also if anybody knows, what is the expense of my goal. I know is very expensive, but how much?
Any help is aprreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ashley asked: Where is the cheapest place to study/learn to become a commercial pilot in the western world?
I am emigrating to Australia and from what i can see it is much cheaper to fly there (to get all of the necessary hours and exams) than it is in the UK and the US?
Where is the cheapest place?
It seems people don’t understand the question so I’ll simplify it.
Where is the cheapest place to learn to fly commercial aircraft?
